Job Title: General Laborer/Shop Floor Worker
Job Summary:
The General Laborer/Shop Floor Worker is responsible for supporting daily production and shop operations by performing a variety of manual labor tasks. This role requires a motivated and dependable individual who helps maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment while assisting machine operators, production staff, and supervisors as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform physical labor tasks including carrying, lifting, and moving materials
Assist with general shop floor tasks, including material handling, loading and unloading
Support production processes by preparing materials and work areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor and workstations
Assist machine operators and other team members as needed
Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and procedures
Complete other duties as assigned to support operations
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or GED
Previous manufacturing or shop floor experience is a plus, but not required
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Basic math and measurement skills
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and move up to 50lbs
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
Work Environment:
Manufacturing or shop floor setting
Exposure to machinery, tools, and moving equipment
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Full-time position, 40 hours per week
On-site in our Livonia, MI (48150) facility
Compensation and Benefits:

Reporting Structure:
Reports directly to the Shop Supervisor or Production Supervisor
Works closely with machine operators, production leads, and other shop floor team members
Receives daily work assignments and guidance from supervisory or management staff
